Linux 2.6.0 Released PDF Print E-mail
The Linux kernel 2.6.0 was released today, following years of work by hackers around the world. This release promises much better desktop performance and a new advanced sound infrastructure, opening things up even more for the possibility of a future with Linux as a powerful force on the desktop.

I'm not aware of any distributions that have officially made it available yet, but hopefully we won't have to wait too long. The impatient can get the full sources from kernel.org.
