USA Today had an article about FactCheck.org, one of the best sites I've seen in a long time. It basically analyzes the claims each presidential candidate has made against the other, exposing the thick layer of exaggeration and outright untruth underneath it all.

A quick summary: Kerry's charges that Bush said that sending jobs overseas "makes sense". But the thing is... he didn't.

On the other hand, Bush said that Kerry supported a 50-cent gas tax. But, you see, he didn't... really... Although Bush's current economic adviser is apparently a big fan of the idea.

A must-read for anyone who's seen a political commercial this election season.
